FODMAP-Friendly†

A group of short-chain carbohydrates, called FODMAPs (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides And Polyols) can be problematic to some individuals. These short chain carbohydrates are poorly absorbed in the small intestine and rapidly fermented by bacteria in the gut, causing gas and bloating. Individuals who have trouble digesting FODMAPs often have to follow a diet low in FODMAPs, which can be a challenge when trying to eat an array of fresh fruits and vegetables. Each fruit, vegetable and green in Super Greens supports those following a low-FODMAP diet.
